This wonderful apartment sits right on the seafront at up-and-coming Prestonpans, just 8 miles east of Edinburgh. There is everything you could wish on your doorstep including shops, supermarkets, a gastro-pub with micro brewery, superb views and great walks and wildlife. Access to central Edinburgh is via very frequent and cheap bus and train services and of course there is plenty free parking. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and is accessed via a seaward lane, off the High Street itself.

This apartment sits on the beach, commanding stunning views across the Firth of Forth to Fife, with sunsets to die for on Edinburgh’s skyline just to the West. There are glorious walks to be had along the beach-front and immediately to the west lies a Nature Reserve on the site of the former Salt Marshes (or ‘pans‘). This hosts a great array of resident and visiting bird-life. And next door to that is Edinburgh’s (Musselburgh) Racecourse.

The village itself has everything you need within touching distance, including shops supermarkets, banks and cafes. It has a thriving arts scene, is particularly renowned for its murals, and is home to an Annual Arts Festival several Look out for the ‘Gothenburg’ Pub and Bistro which has recently been restored to its original Edwardian style, and  even brews its own beer on the premises.

Entrance to the apartment is gained just off the High Street and via a small private garden. The apartment is in the ‘duplex’ style, with two double bedrooms on the ground-floor along with WC and Shower room. Upstairs lie the large Kitchen/Dining Room and the Living Room with picture windows over the sea. One visitor described it as ‘like being on a cruise liner’.
